The Elevate Rapid City Ag & Natural Resources Committee continued a 44-year tradition that provided lunches to participants in the Black Hills Stock Show & Rodeo Youth Day on January 30, 2021. Arby’s provided sack lunches for the nearly 300 youths that participated.
During the luncheon, three West River South Dakota students were recognized and awarded scholarships. Scholarship winners were Paige Lehrkamp, Rapid City ($2,000); Brycen Cheney, Wall ($2,000); and CJ Livermont, Interior ($600 to Western Dakota Tech). These scholarships are made possible by the generous businesses that support Youth Day.
