Meet The Candidates
In addition to voting for candidates at the Federal level, you will also have the opportunity to elect South Dakota state representatives. One senator and two representatives from each district serve as citizen legislators in Pierre.
The Elevate Rapid City 2020 Pro-Business Legislative Scorecard reflects the voting record of the fifteen Rapid City Area legislators on key issues our organization tracked during the 2020 legislative session. Elevate commits to promoting pro-business policy initiatives and believe it imperative to educate our business and economic community on key issues that were deliberated and how local legislators voted to support or oppose these proposals.
We asked all candidates 3 business and economic development-related questions. To view the responses click on the district below. Not sure what district you are in? View your sample ballot.
As the leading advocate promoting business and personal advancement, Elevate Rapid City has taken a stance on two of the ballot measures that will be on the South Dakota General Election Ballot. We would encourage you to vote "NO" on Constitutional Amendment A and "YES" on Constitutional Amendment B. To learn more about why the Elevate has taken these stances, CLICK HERE.
